We are very pleased to issue this project update regarding the Toton Scheme in Nottingham, having secured the go ahead for the Section 38 (highways) and S104 (drainage) technical approvals.
This much needed development comprises 282 homes, a care home, day nursery and commercial park for Peveril Homes.
The onsite highways design was approved by Nottingham County Council as the solution is both functional and economical with inherent traffic calming through applying a “Manual for Streets” approach.

Drainage too was approved by Severn Trent Water and comprises a network of proposed public sewers linking SUDS carrier swales and a balancing pond. The SUDS will really add to the aesthetics of the scheme creating amenity value, improving water quality as well as providing a safe and economical design with resilience to extreme rainfall.
The scheme has also included a provision for an extension to the NET Tram network linking the proposed HS2 East Midland Hub Station and supporting public transport links to the new scheme.

This was one of the first projects we completed for Peveril Homes and we would like to thank them for the opportunity of working on this scheme. We look forward now to supporting them during the construction of these much-needed homes in this excellent location of Nottingham. We look forward to growing our relationship with Peveril Homes and working with them on a number of future developments. A further thank you to our very own Thomas Nunn for his diligent attention to this scheme.
Great work team!
