PJS Geotechnical Engineers Limited are delighted to announce a senior level appointment to strengthen the team, and reinforce an impressive first quarter performance.
Martin Parker has joined the team this month with over 20 years’ consultancy experience, and is considered within the industry to be a leading expert in the assessment of ground conditions and delivery of value engineered foundation solutions to the residential housing sector.
PJS Managing Director Paul Smith, who previously worked with Martin is extremely happy to have him onboard and confident that his knowledge and experience will be a valuable addition to the team.
Paul comments “I am so pleased to be working alongside Martin again. His proven track record of delivering robust and economical foundation solutions perfectly match the overall philosophy of the business and will greatly benefit our valued clients. With Martin now onboard this will give us the opportunity to increase our capacity and scope of services, and will assist the business to develop in line with our ambitious growth strategy.”
In addition to the delivery of both Preliminary and Detailed Foundation Design, Martin also has vast experience and expert knowledge in Land Feasibility Studies, Phase 1 Desk Studies and Coal Mining Risk Assessments. All of which will further strengthen and reinforce the scope of services offered by PJS Geotechnical.
His previous experience also includes the design of Phase 2 Site Investigation Works including the supervision of intrusive works and technical reporting, having worked alongside the majority of the National Housebuilders and Land Promotors during his impressive career.
He has also carried out site investigation and foundation designs for a series of large residential developments (250+ plots) on Brownfield sites in the UK. Martin describes PJS Geotechnical as a forward thinking, innovative and pragmatic engineering consultancy and that joining the team is a natural step in his career. He comments that “working with Paul again was a major influencing factor in my decision to join the business. Working with likeminded professionals and a dynamic business like PJS, will be extremely exciting.”
