After an initial period of finalising some of the administrative based tasks necessary in setting up a new consultancy, we were able to get out and about to catch up with some old friends and introduce PJS Geotechnical to the industry.
With our clear aim of providing robust and economical advice to our clients, we have been delighted with the response received to date, resulting in us becoming involved with some really interesting ground engineering projects already.
We have been working alongside some of the National Housebuilders including Persimmon, Redrow and Linden Homes, using our expertise to deliver foundation design solutions at multiple stages of the project cycle including feasibility, detailed design and on-site inspection work.
One project that stands out in particular is where we were able to value engineer an existing foundation solution at feasibility stage to deliver significant potential savings on abnormal foundation costs. This is a prime example of where PJS Geotechnical can add real value to ground engineering projects through early engagement.
We have a passion for geotechnical design and in particular delivering robust and economical working platforms for piling and ground engineering works. We are delighted to have been able to team up with a leading national piling contractor to provide working platform designs, delivering a safe working environment for the piling works to commence which is vital in the construction industry today.
We have also been working alongside our partners at PJS Consulting Engineers to add our industry insight and experience of the geo-environmental sector to the feasibility appraisal work undertaken for their existing client base. At PJS using our combined infrastructure and geotechnical design knowledge we are able to offer our clients a market leading service at any stage of the civil engineering project both above and below ground.
